Show resume

« … I am more a kind of craftsman or second-hand dealer who dedicates himself to the unexpected… »
André Dhôtel

At any time, around the bend of any path, an adventure may begin and the wonderful may overwhelm us.
André Dhôtel’s novel reminds us it is not only the world that creates stories, drama, but that it is also them that create the world.
In an ordinary village, a young boy will cross the path of a young runaway, then the path of a horse which will take him far away from home, and at the same time very deep inside himself. A great initiatory journey where the adventure is an epiphany, as well as André Dhôtel’s stories are, which when they take in the easiest things in the world, reveal us this latter one as the most wonderful thing!
“In a century, of which so many books tell the darkness while often only simplisms like Coué’s oppose themselves to them, the work of André Dhôtel goes ahead a bit lonely and without fuss towards this ray of light under the door that lies at the bottom of each of us.”
Jean Grosjean
